Central California

Central California Valley

The plan for the rest of the Central Valley is to build (2) inland desalination plants near Los Banos to supply 100,000,000 gallons per day into the California Aqueduct.

Also build (2) inland desalination plants near Kettleman City to supply 100,000,000 gallons per day into the California Aqueduct.

Additionally build (4) inland desalination plants near Tupman to supply 200,000,000 gallons per day into the California Aqueduct.

Two billion gallons per day would be produced in the Central Valley to supply the California Aqueduct and the water would be transported via the California Aqueduct and be available for use in the Central Valley.

With these and the Friant Kern plants in place; 800,000,000 gallons per day less would be pumped from Wheeler Ridge and would be available for use in the Central Valley.

California Delta

The Delta Tunnel Project could be abandoned leaving the slated money available to be spent on inland desalination projects. The delta environment could be left alone and saved from any changes. A large percentage of the water from the Delta Region would supply the Central Valley.
